Eligible accounts

At least 75% of a company's revenue must be generated from truck equipment manufacturing or installation. 

Work Truck Manufacturers
Truck equipment is defined as any equipment that is designed for mounting on bare trucks chassis to convert the truck to a special use vehicle such as, but are not limited to:

  • Ambulance/emergency response trucks
  • Beverage trucks
  • Dump trucks
  • Tow trucks
  • Utility trucks

Trailer Manufacturers
Trailer manufacturers must generate at least 90% of their total sales through trailer dealers.  Eligible types of trailers include, but are not limited to:

  • Utility trailers
  • Cargo trailers
  • Heavy equipment trailers
  • Semi-trailers

*Trailer dealers are not eligible for the program.

Submission requirements

  • Completed industry standard applications for each line of coverage desired
  • Completed Trailer & Work Truck Manufacturers supplemental questionnaire
  • Completed Aerial Device questionnaire (if applicable)
  • Detailed description of operations
  • Copies of brochures and/or website address
  • 5 years currently valued loss runs with an explanation of any loss over $10,000
  • Completed Business Income worksheet required if requested limit exceeds $500,000 (per location) and/or writing coverage on an agreed amount basis
