Our mission is to assist groups, including state, county, and municipal governments, as well as academic, agency or authority organizations, find innovative ways to offset increasing healthcare costs for active employee populations and retirees who are no longer in the workforce.
Public entities have been tasked with enduring tremendous challenges resulting from the economic downturn while their obligations to current and former employees have remained flat or, in many cases, increased. Pooling resources from the group benefits division with expertise in these niche spaces to help public entities manage healthcare costs outside their existing core benefits for employees as well as OPEB for retirees.
