Amwins Special Risk Underwriters (SRU) was launched in 2008 to provide an exclusive property solution for Amwins brokers. Thanks to disciplined underwriting and a relationship-first approach, we've seen steady growth in premium, programs and people since inception.
As Amwins' in-house MGA, SRU gives Amwins brokers exclusive access to a portfolio of programs and products that can help their clients win. While our roots are in CAT-exposed property coverage, our expertise has expanded to include transportation and professional lines, giving more lines of business the opportunity to leverage this resource to secure quality underwriting solutions in a challenging market.
