Amwins Special Risk Underwriters (SRU) was launched in 2008 to provide an exclusive property solution for Amwins brokers. Thanks to disciplined underwriting and a relationship-first approach, we've seen steady growth in premium, programs and people since inception.
As Amwins' in-house MGA, SRU gives Amwins brokers exclusive access to a portfolio of programs and products that can help their clients win. While our roots are in CAT-exposed property coverage, our expertise has expanded to include transportation, professional lines, casualty and construction, giving more lines of business the opportunity to leverage this resource to secure quality underwriting solutions in a challenging market.
