Workers' Compensation - Community Associations

Two programs offering workers’ compensation insurance for community associations with and without W2 employees.

Protecting those who make communities
feel like home.

The hallmark of any community association is the neighborly feeling it offers. From manicured common areas, to holiday parties and open houses, community association members offer their time and talent to make neighborhoods a desirable place to live.

But even the most carefully planned volunteer association activities can result in accidents. And without proper insurance coverage, slips and falls in common areas like clubhouses, pools or entrances can compromise your community association client’s reputation and volunteer goodwill.

Community Association Insurance Solutions, part of Amwins Underwriting, offers two workers’ compensation insurance programs that offer peace of mind for the full spectrum of employees, board members, committee members and volunteers injured while working in service of their community association (homeowner’s association, condominium or planned unit development).

Why community association workers’ compensation?

Unlike A&H/AD&D policies, workers’ compensation covers all out-of-pocket expenses that result from any injury sustained while performing volunteer duties. And GL policies exclude bodily injury to an employee, which can be interpreted as volunteers or employees of contractors, as well.
