Amwins Global Risks moves to new London base

Apr 23, 2021

Amwins Global Risks (formerly THB), the London broking operation of Amwins Group, has moved to a new London base in 22 Bishopsgate, the City of London’s so called vertical village.

Matthew Crane, CEO, announced “This is a great leap forward for Amwins Global Risks.  Creating a space where employees can easily collaborate was the main driver for our move – and being able to provide wellbeing facilities was also a huge draw.  One of our leadership team’s long-standing objectives is to retain and attract the best talent in the market and our new workspace is a great place for brokers, producers and underwriters to work. Following our rebrand in February, our new office signals a new chapter as we gradually return to face to face meetings and smart working in a covid-secure environment.”

Janis Stylianou, HR Director, added “I’m delighted that this project is finally coming to life.  Moving to 22 Bishopsgate reflects our collaborative culture and our ambitions to support our teams by providing the right tools in the best working environment, including state of the art technology and comfortable, inviting workspaces.  I’m really excited about our future.”

Since joining Amwins in 2012, Amwins Global Risks has doubled its annual premium placed to more than $2 billion and is now one of the largest independent wholesale specialty brokers in the London market, serving retail brokers and markets in North America, Europe and internationally.
