Nick Abraham serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Amwins Global Risks. Based in London, he drives strategic initiatives for the division as the firm looks to continue its investment in the London/international market.
Prior to his role as CEO of Amwins Global Risks, Nick was Executive Vice President and Branch Leader of Amwins Insurance Brokerage – Atlanta. His responsibilities included supporting over 40 production teams and 300 associates in achieving their growth and profitability goals. Prior to joining Amwins, Nick began his career with Markel where he held underwriting, business development, and leadership roles over an 18-year period.
Nick serves on the board of directors for the WSIA Educational Foundation as President and as Executive Vice President of the Gamma Iota Sigma International Risk Management and Insurance and Actuarial Science College Fraternity. He also serves as the Chair of the Troy University Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board and as a member of the Sorrell College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board.
Nick and his wife, Melissa, reside in Alpharetta, GA with their two children, Alex and Ella Kate.
